Vic Cocowitch's Bio Vic has worked for the past 15 years as an organizational development and leadership consultant. Some of his clients have included: Nortel Networks, Catholic Healthcare West, Rockport Shoe Company, Duke University Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Zurich Insurance, and NYU Medical Center. Vic received a B.A. in economics and a master's in public health administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a certificate in Organizational and Community Systems from Johns Hopkins University. After his graduate training he worked for 12 years as a senior level executive in associations, medical education, rural health, hospitals, and managed care organizations. Also an author, Vic has published several articles and co-authored a book entitled, The Turnaround Imperative: A Leader's Guide for Survival in a Turbulent Health Care Environment, in January 1996. He is currently a faculty member with the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences and an associate of Otto Kroeger Associates. He is also an adjunct faculty with the University of North Carolina School of Public Health and the Center for Creative Leadership. Vic lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife, Dawn, who is a family nurse practitioner. They have two children, Kyle and Anya, ages 5 and 3, respectively. |
